Cindy's Bachelorette
A chill weekend with the girls before the big day
Wedding: Sep 5, 2026 Β· Hyatt Highlands Carmel
The Vibe
We're getting the girls together to celebrate Cindy before the big day! This is going to be a chill, intimate weekend β no wild partying, just quality time together, a fun boxing workout, and a beautiful dinner in Mill Valley.
For those traveling from out of town, we've got an Airbnb with a pool and hot tub on Friday night so we can all hang out, relax, and catch up before the main event on Saturday. Location is TBD β somewhere not too far from SF, likely Mill Valley or Pacifica area.

Will Airbnb Allow This?
Yes β what you're planning is totally fine. Airbnb's party ban targets disruptive, open-invite parties with loud music, excessive guests, and property damage. A small group of friends staying overnight, using the pool, doing face masks, and leaving the next day is exactly what Airbnbs are for.
β
Your bachelorette is fine because:
Small group of named guests (not open-invite)Staying overnight (not a one-night party rental)
No loud music, no excessive drinking
Pool/hot tub use is normal guest behavior
You're checking out the next day
β οΈ Tips to avoid issues:
Be upfront with the host β message them saying it's a small bachelorette sleepoverMake sure the guest count matches the listing's max occupancy
Respect quiet hours (usually 10 PM)
Don't list more guests than are actually staying overnight

Meet the Girls
Some of us have known each other forever, and some of us are meeting for the first time this weekend. Here's a little bit about everyone and how we know Cindy!
πΉ Dana
Multi-instrumentalist who makes everything look easy
Met Cindy through Jazz class at UCSD. She's insanely talented β plays a bajillion instruments and is a beast at piano. She's been there through thick and thin, always shows up, and always has the best concert invites. They love exploring the SF food scene together.
π€ Joelle
17 years of friendship, K-pop, and karaoke
All the way back to freshman year of high school! They bonded over K-pop (TVXQ when they were still 5 members!) and learned Japanese together. Seventeen years of friendship, countless K-pop concerts, trips to Korea, and many, many karaoke sessions.
π» Nina
Debugged code and life together at UCSD
Also met at UCSD and bonded over K-pop. Nina helped Cindy survive tutoring Computer Science β they made it through all the hardest CS classes together. Battle-tested friendship forged in the fires of debugging.
π¬ Evelyn
Premiere Pro and open mic partners in crime
Met at Pinterest and instantly clicked over music and photography. She's impossibly talented at everything. They've played open mics together, collaborated on the "Time Machine" music video (filming in an abandoned parking lot at midnight!), and made so much art together.
π Angel
Concert buddy and certified tea-spilling partner
Bonded through food and music β always exploring the SF and Bay Area food scene together. She never hesitates to invite Cindy to a great concert, and she's always there to hear the stories and spill the tea. Their Blackpink concert together was legendary.
π€ Alice
Pinterest reorg survivors
Worked on the same team at Pinterest. Alice was there for Cindy from her intern days, through multiple reorgs and hardships. She was a rock when Cindy was first settling into SF, and has always been a trusted ear for life's ups and downs.
